About

I'm Nicholas Webb. I build things at the intersection of hardware and AI — custom controllers, firmware, 3D-printed housings, and the software to tie it all together.

WebbCraft is where I document my projects in enough detail that you can build them yourself. Every project includes full build guides, source code, CAD files, and bill of materials. If I built it, you can too.

My current project is Roam, a wrist-mounted Bluetooth controller designed for hands-free interaction with AI coding tools. It started as a "what if I didn't have to reach for the keyboard every time Claude Code needs approval" and turned into a full hardware project.

I use Claude Code extensively in my workflow — not just for software, but for firmware development, debugging I2C peripherals, and generating parametric OpenSCAD models. The irony of building a hardware controller to control an AI that helped build the hardware controller is not lost on me.
